Privacy Policy

This site collects one thing: your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it. That happens only when you sign up for the mailing list or send a message through the contact form.

I use it to send you the free case files, emails when there's something new (books, new case files, and occasionally other reading I think you'll like), and a reply if you write to me. Nothing else. Your email address is never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing.

Two services handle this information on my behalf. MailerLite stores the mailing list and sends the emails. Netlify hosts this site and receives contact form submissions. Both are bound by their own privacy policies. Like any web server, this site also logs basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, which isn't used to identify you personally.

Seeing, changing or deleting your information

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom, and using it removes you from the list straight away. If you want to know what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted entirely, send me a message through the contact form and say so. You don't need to give a reason.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal, and there is still no agreed standard for how sites should answer it. This site doesn't track you across other websites and carries no third-party advertising, so there's nothing here for that signal to switch off.

Children

This site is meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given me theirs, write to me and I'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects how your information is used, I'll say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
